DarwinsDomain had this on her page, the questions at least, along with the offer to answer these questions to anyone posting a question in a comment below. Here's what I got - Thanks!

1. Tell you something I learned about by looking at your DA page for 13 seconds. You use a lot of different traditional mediums for your art work!

2. Tell you a color you remind me of. Mellow Yellow

3. Tell you my first memory of you. I remember being wowed by the two pieces of Cabal Fan art you did for me!

4. Tell you what comic, manga/anime, or video game character you remind me of. Xanatos from Gargoyles...hee! It's the Goatee!

5. Ask you a question, and you must answer. Are we ever going to finish our Collab on Midnight?

6. Tell you something I like about you. You're a lot of fun to talk to!

7. Give you a nickname. Amaimanga

8. Tell you the object that is to the left of me. Water color paintings.

9. Tell you what I think you need to fix about your personality and or drawing style. Hmmm, I've seen so much improvement in your work in the years that I've known you, I think you're already there. I have nothing to add!

10. Tell you what hair style I think fits you. Shortly cropped and gelled to stand straight up!

11. Tell you what element I think fits you. Air - breezing in and out!

12. Answer the question you commented with. Of course they were! My deepfryer puked before I could get my veggies through it, but the chicken was AWESOME!

13. Dare you to post this in your journal

So... if you comment here with a question, I'd try to do the same ;-)
Cheers!

A long time with many important happenings went by and I never got around to update this journal here.
Well, personally, I got married and the wedding consumed my complete time, even afterwards.
Artistically, I got to draw my instructional comic as I wished. Right now, I finished page 37 of around 44/45 and am really happy and proud of it. I also discovered that I do like neither writing nor inking my comics work, but here I have to do both. After some time I got to the point of not minding to write and ink, but I see myself more a penciller than anything else.
I also got the experience of really "working" at the drawing board for 8 -10 hours, several days in a row. That really shows, if you could make it in the industry, I think, and I really got to like that!
Well, so much for my so interesting life ;)
All in all: All's well, drawing more than ever and surely will upload stuff in the future.
How are you?

After long struggle and stress I finally can sit back and relax - at least a bit - without having a bad conscience.
I am structuring my workdesk in our new place as cool as I am able to and I think it's turning out tzo be a great spot to work at! That's imprtant, as I am nowe having a MONSTER project coming which I am really excited about and honestly cannot await to start of:

In order to be admitted to the final exam of university for teachers one must write an essay of about 60 - 90 pgs, quite theoretical, science-based. This also does quite a deal in the final grade of the exam, so it better be good. You have tzo come up with the theme yourself and find someone willing to accompany you and correctit in the end.
I did so and will do a school-book for 7th-graders about drawing comics! Isn't that just great? I will do the book itself as a comic, McCloudish if you will, just for schoolkids around 13 yrs of age. I intend to do around 48 pages with theoreticals, exercises, tips etc.

As I said, I cannot wait to start doing it - will be so much work but so worth it, as my professor here also wants to find publishers to print it for it being used at schools! Yay!

A very good reason to clear the desk and prepaer for long hours of writing and drawing!

Hello, again!

It's been some time since I got around here the last time.
No excuses, just a schedule that is busier than a ant-hill, moving into a new flat, preparing our wedding... you can guess the rest.

But - I got to draw and paint a bit more, I uploaded some of the outcome here. Leave a comment, a short note you were here, this would make my day(s).

I'm off - back at the painting-place, pouring colour over a poor canvas that has never harmed anyone and hopefully never will.
Cheers!
